  1. Cheer up, mate! At least you know why they died. I´ve also lost 3 mugo pines during this winter and I don´t know why. They all had a compact root bale with lots of roots. It wasn´t the frost, it wasn´t the moisture, the soil .... :(

    Greetings,

  2. **** happens. It has been extremely cold this winter and I have had few casualities. So I guess the ones living will be very hardy the years to come.

I thought it would be a good idea to honour the dead trees with a post and mark them with a reason for death, for the learing of it.

  3. Yes, of course - thank´s for instructing! It´s brave to admit such things, especially like you did with an illustrated posting.

I wish I could tell you why my mugos died.

  4. "These are hard bids," said Moses, when he lost the stone tablets on the foot.
